身為Valentino唯一的創意總監，Pierpaolo Piccioli的2017春夏系列依舊令人驚豔，浪漫詩意十足，但更矜持內斂。
2017春夏Valentino吸收歷史元素，成為藝復興時期和中世紀藝術的忠實跟隨者。取材15世紀荷蘭畫家Hieronymus Bosch的畫作《塵世樂園》(The Garden of Earthly Delights)，同時邀請一頭粉紅短髮的時尚玩家Zandra Rhodes創作心臟和匕首的手繪印花，一同描繪龐克的人文主義，接納對比與不完美。但色彩是雅韻的，即使開場刺激辛辣的豔粉也有種詩意。
當然Valentino的經典浪漫依舊不變，最知名的刺繡工藝仍舊出色。花朵、禽鳥、仙人掌、和棕櫚樹，以提花、刺繡、與印花併呈於飄逸絲質或奢華天鵝絨裙裝。
